Powershift Marketing Internships: Summer 2015
Powershift Group is looking for an intern to assist with marketing and administrative functions. The intern will be trained and prepared to reinforce the rest of the staff to carry out the execution of marketing strategy and will assist with overall team efficiency. By the end of the program, the intern will have gained experience in various aspects of marketing and business practices. This position requires at least 10 hours per week.
We also offer an appealing office environment, occasional lunches, and a never-ending supply of snacks and beverages. The Powershift office is a fun environment where people learn quickly, work hard and accomplish big things. We also can help guide the intern to prepare a journal or portfolio of their work with us, as well as offer a real possibility to join the team full-time.
Responsibilities: -Marketing research -Help publish content to WordPress -Work with graphic designers and blog manager -Test products -Help plan trade shows and other events -Help to keep track of press features -Help execute marketing efforts for new Powershift companies -Edit and fact check various forms of content -Occasional office management errands (with mileage compensation) -Inclusion in marketing and business meetings to see operations aspects of business
Requirements We’re looking for junior or senior-level students who are working toward a marketing, business administration, or related degree. A 3 month trial period may be extended or renewed for subsequent periods based on performance of the associate and demand for the services. Must have laptop access.
Very importantly, a strong candidate will also display not only passion, enthusiasm, and stellar work-ethic, but a willingness and ability to learn- and do so quickly.
